Legislative Issues

The Virginia General Assembly meets once each year on the second Wednesday in January. The session can last up to 60 days in an even numbered year or up to 30 days in an odd numbered year. The Virginia General Assembly home page, http://legis.state.va.us/, provides information on individual bills, General Assembly members, standing committees, and meetings of legislative committees for sessions from 1994 to present. Searchable databases are also available for bills, the Code of Virginia and the Virginia Administrative Code. To obtain information on a legislative bill or other legislative matter, go to http://legis.state.va.us/.

Find out information about the Delegates and Senators, including contact information through the Virginia General Assembly.
